Tu-214

Tu-214 (Tu-204-200) – mid-range modified version of Tu-204-100 with increased take-off weight and flight range. The aircraft are serially produced by “KAPO n/a Gorbunov” (JSC) and are in operation with a number of Russian airlines such as “Dalavia”, “Russia airlines”, “Transaero” and “Krasnoyarsk airlines” on international and local routes. The aircraft has made its maiden flight in 1996. It was certified in 2001 in conformity with AP-25 Russian norms harmonized with FAR-25 and JAR-25 international standards. A wide range of digital avionics is certified for installation on Tu-214 at customers demand. This ensures Tu-214 correspondence to Eurocontrol and ICAO current requirements that allows flights all over the world. Tests for correspondence to Eurocontrol and RNP newest requirements (flight route accuracy standards) and B-RNAV (zone navigation airspace) in Norway and Finland, including adverse weather conditions of late autumn and winter, were successfully carried out on the Tu-214.
